I've been told my music gives people feelings of nostalgia. A sort of emotionally ambivalent palette that allows listeners to reflect on the best times of their lives, or perhaps mourn the worst.

Or both.

The music for this LP came together rather unintentionally, as I was slowly piecing together sounds and ideas over the summer of 2021 and early 2022. My life was in a heavy state of transition leading up to getting married in July of 2022, and I feel the music presented in these nine tracks was the overflow of everything that came along with that period of life for me.

This is an album of solo ambient guitar music with no overdubs or splicing. Every track is recorded live in studio. Austin & I worked closely to portray these songs in a genuine way while still maintaining a quality listening experience. All that being said, please enjoy my whale noises, just like they are in the wild.

It continues to surprise me how much I can feel supported by one human.
